Wild Asia Responsible Tourism Awards 2010
Wild Asia is please to announce that the Responsible Tourism Awards are back! Now entering its fifth year, the Responsible Tourism Awards is an opportunity to showcase outstanding tourism operators - from small community based projects to large resorts - that are making significant contributions to sustainable tourism and provide inspiration for others to emulate. By sharing best practices of sustainable tourism seen among operators in Asia, we hope to demonstrate how advantageous it is to implement Responsible Tourism as part of a sound tourism business strategy.
We all know that travel has become more and more popular over the years, whether it be for fun, for a short business meeting, or for a week long corporate conference seminar. It is important that both individuals and corporations understand the importance of sustainable travel, and make it a goal to reduce carbon emissions while traveling and to choose a responsible tour destination or operator for future travels. Wild Asia is at the forefront of this movement and is now helping both individuals and businesses alike to incorporate responsible travel into their agendas.
